We seek to build the capacity of young entrepreneurs to be self-reliant through mentorship and training and the introduction of appropriate technologies to young people. Our primary target is refugees and the host community mainly around the Rwamwanja refugee camp, though other community members are taken on as well.

Our major focus is to support young entrepreneurs to develop business projects to enhance self-reliance and self-resilience among young people as and means to be job creators. GIC provides the necessary support such as capacity building, mentoring, and training for young people in agriculture, agriculture value addition, and adaptation of appropriate technologies. We also carry out post-training mentorship and support for the business ventures our trainees and mentees have developed. We also carry out an Entrepreneurship development training program, provisioning of incubation facilities, and market links for products produced through the programs and support. Other support activities provided include legal services such as incorporation and registration of start-ups, regulatory advice to incubatees, Intellectual property protection such as trademark registration, etc.
