Bees are an important aspect of our ecosystem and as important pollinators. Bee products are also an important source of healthy living and income generation for young people, especially in areas where young people such as refugees do not have land and resources to carry out farming which would require big size of land. At GIC we incubate young businesses in approach beekeeping focusing on income generation and environmental conservation. Young businesses are oriented and trained in beekeeping and the bee value chain ranging from honey harvest and packing, propolis, candle wax making, beehives, and bee venom among others. GIC provides spaces for beekeeping, facilities for processing and marking as well as linking to the market
