Kisitu Wood Works

Kisitu Wood works is an initiative being incubated at Gwayaka Incubation Centre. It specializes in wood and wood products. The key focus is for house and house finishing both for interior and exterior design products.

At Kisitu Wood Works we specialize in all kinds of live-edge wood products and all kinds of wooden houses, pergolas, and outdoor wood products among others. We create artistic rustic live-edge products from locally sourced wood. Sources of wood range from ordinary gardens to forest products from Uganda and other countries. We also have wood materials like plywood and board for customers who may want a torch of modernity for their products. Our live edge furniture is mainly made from salvaged and reused natural wood.

A-Frame houses

We construct all types of A-Frame houses. Whether you are making a tourist resort, a place for recreation or you just want to set up a rest place at home, our team will design and make one for you depending on your needs.

Pergolas and gazebos

When it comes to designing your outdoors our team will be handy to design all types of pergolas or gazebos to your expectations and design. From rustic to those that use modern materials, we design and construct all types of pergolas and gazebos.

Interior design pieces and designs

We make and design a number of interior design products from simple wooden art pieces, to stools, and decorative frames among others.

Ceilings and Floors

We design and construct all types of wooden ceilings and floors to meet our customer’s needs. These range from conventional flat ceilings, vaulted ceilings, tray ceilings, and dropped ceilings among other types. Our ceilings are made from wood, board and locally sourced materials such as bamboo, ratan and different types of reeds.

Platforms and play areas

Whether you want a stage at a public place, at a party, or a permanent platform or you are looking for a play area our team is ready to serve you. We design platforms for different purposes and functions. These range from permanent platforms such as tent platforms for campers and camping sites to temporary platforms for events such as parties. Our team also designs wood play areas of all kinds including swings, climbers, and kids play areas among others.

 

Live Edge furniture table

We design and produce different of live edge furniture ranging from mirrors and mirror frames, windows, doors, dining tables and chairs, and wall hangings of all types.
